Once upon a time, broken-hearted Gerda slumped to the ground at Tays’ grave. Holding a withered rose, clutching it to her chest; it crumbles, the dust of rose encircles her in the breeze. Suddenly, an icy hand grips her shoulder, icicle fingers gouge her skin. Hissing through her teeth “ you are mine !”
Dragging Gerda to her iridescent sleigh. Gerda cries out “Help, help me, someone . Please! ” No one heard. The Snow Queen cracked her whip. Two glistening unicorns whinnied, galloping them off into the sky.
Passing a castle, encased by ice, “ No, one will help you now, they are as frozen as my heart !“ She sniggered. Two ravens flapped but their talons are set in ice. The king and queen were ice statues, frozen in an embrace. Gerda cried to see them, but her tears turned to ice, frozen onto her cheek. “ Please set my friends free! “ she pleaded, but the Snow Queen whipped the unicorns harder, their eyes mad with fear.
Onwards over the glaciated river, an outlaw girl frost-bound holds onto a reindeer. Its’ antlers frosted with snow. Their expressions relate pure anger. The outlaw girl still holding her fist in the air. The sleigh now rides a blizzard. Gerda cannot see through frozen eyelashes; her hands, blue as glaciers.
Only one patch of colour flashed upon the horizon, The enchantress’s garden. Gerda croaked “ please help me, enchantress! “
the Enchantress Summoned up a magnificent black unicorn, He knelt before her. She held on tight, to his silver and black ribbed mane, as thunder roared. Lightening cracked under his hooves, rearing up, sending forks across the purple, black sky. Beating, huge wings enveloped the sky. Dragons flew overhead, onwards, flames melting ice. All are free, chasing the Snow Queen.
Gerda was barely alive, arriving at the snow Queens ice palace. The Snow Queen threw her from her sleigh . “ you caused me pain, you taught me to love and I felt unbearable pain “ she hissed “ You lied of love , now feel my pain! “ She shrieked.
Down tumbled the walls around them Dragons encircled. Casting an ice spell, she surrounded herself and Gerda with crystal ice. The dragons could not breathe fire onto Gerda. A lightning bolt shook the remains . lightening bolted into the snow Queens heart . Killing her instantly. Gerda , lays in the enchantress’s arms , gently passing away , surrounded by her friends . Now reunited with her Tay , eternally .
The end .
